George Giannakodakis - Principal

George Giannakodakis (MIEAust MAITPM MPIA) has over 23 years experience in urban and transport policy and development, transport planning, infrastructure planning and project development and management. Prior to establishing InfraPlan (Aust) in 2005 he held several senior management and project director positions in SA State Government. During his career he has led the strategic development of state transport strategies, the Metropolitan Planning Strategy, TOD projects and feasibility studies, urban and regional policy development projects; in all over 80 strategies and projects and over 20 major infrastructure projects. George has served on numerous State and National Committees including economic evaluation, national greenhouse taskforce (AGO), transport planning & evaluation, AUSTROADS and the national working group on affordable housing. George has presented or published over 25 papers on urban & transport planning and undertaken a study tour of 12 European cities for transport & urban policy ideas. He is currently the SA Chair of the Transport Chapter of the Planning Institute of Australia and Past President of the Australian Institute of Urban Studies (SA).  

Benjamin Russ -  Strategic and Urban Planning

Benjamin Russ (BA, GDURP) has been with InfraPlan for nearly two years. His knowledge and experience in the fields of social geography and urban planning have proven valuable to the projects undertaken by InfraPlan. His skills include transport policy and strategy, land use planning, public consultation and reporting, as well as traffic impact assessment. Ben has most recently project-managed the consultation process for the Mount Barker Transport Master Plan and been part of a high profile team for the Adelaide Futures Project, Southern Area Growth Strategy and City of Onkaparinga Integrated Transport Strategy.

Ben Leonello - Strategic Sustainability Services 

Ben Leonello (BSc Env Hons) has over seven years experience in managing environmental consultancy and policy and development projects relating to climate change, carbon management, sustainability and marine conservation within Australia, UK and Kenya. Prior to recently joining InfraPlan Ben held a number of environmental positions including Senior Climate Change and Sustainability Consultant for ADAS UK Ltd, Scientific Officer for Coastal Protection Branch and Environmental Policy Officer for the former Office of Sustainability. Ben enjoys working with multidisciplinary teams to provide innovative sustainable solutions on behalf of InfraPlan clients.

Adam Bowey - Undergraduate Urban Planning

Adam Bowey (BA URP (Hon) EP) is an urban and regional planner, and has been a member of the InfraPlan team since 2008 when he was employed as a planning student. He has recently become a full-time employee of the company, and brings strong analytical skills to the team, as well as project support and development. Adam has also displayed a proficiency in traffic design projects and traffic impact statements undertaken by InfraPlan.

Jo Moreau - Traffic and Transport Planning

Jo has more than 12 years experience covering transport and traffic planning and design for local government and the private sector, both in Australia and the UK. Skills include project management, investigation, planning, consultation and design of traffic management, road safety improvement, bus priority, cycle, pedestrian, parking and school safety zone schemes. She has been involved in projects including strategic transport and traffic plans, highway planning and design, local area traffic management, development traffic impact assessments and road safety audits.Whilst focussing on transport planning and traffic engineering, Jo has a diverse range of skills and experience in a number of areas and can provide technical advice with regard to the parking provisions and pedestrian oriented precincts within the assessed development areas.

Geoff Anson - Principal, Geoff Anson Consulting 

Geoff Anson has extensive experience in multi-disciplinary planning, metropolitan planning and spatial planning having led the development of the widely referenced Melbourne 2030 Strategy (previous Director, Integrated Planning, Department of Infrastructure, Victoria). Geoff has led integrated strategic land use, transport and regional planning activities in the Department of Infrastructure. Geoff’s role in DOI involved strategy and policy development involved transport, regional development, urban development, community development and environmental protection (1995-2003). More recently his company has been engaged in the development of the Sydney Metropolitan Strategy including industrial land policy analysis, transport and accessibility planning in Sydney (2005) and Sustainable Sydney 20 30 (2008). Geoff’s company often works in partnership with InfraPlan on national projects (COAG Auslink Study and ATC national transport and land use guidelines. Geoff Anson was one of the lead consultants for the ‘Adelaide Futures Project’.
