Client
Northern Territory Department of Lands and Planning
Project Description
The Northern Territory Integrated Regional Strategy provides options for reliable transport services across all regions of the Northern Territory and will contribute to developing greater education, health and social outcomes and enhancing business and tourism opportunities.
The differing nature of the communities in the NT means that a mix of road, air and marine transport is required across the different regions for the movement of passenger and freight. An integrated approach across all regions is applied to ensure consistency throughout the Territory, whilst ensuring the specific requirements of the regions are addressed. The Strategy’s focus on meeting the needs of the Territory’s five regions and will help shape a Territory wide Plan.
InfraPlan was engaged in the extensive consultation process across five regions and towns including remote areas such as Arnhem Land.
