PARK(ing) Day is an international event held each year in cities across the world. Volunteers set up temporary creative ‘people parks’ in car park spaces to generate fun street life and engage with the public. InfraPlan and Outside Ideas set up the “Rundle Street Retreat” out the front of Mary Martin Bookshop on Rundle Street. The park incorporate natural landscaping (with native bushes, grasses and shrubs) with a sustainable transport message, reflecting the ideologies and passions of both companies. We were proud of our final design, due to the hard work of our landscape partner Outside Ideas and InfraPlan Staff. Thank you to all of you who made the effort to visit our Parking Day installation.
